Sand-blasted wooden signs are an excellent way to showcase grandeur and permanency. Sandblasting or sand carving is a technique that forces high-pressure air and sand through a ceramic nozzle, stripping away everything in its path.

 

A rubber mask protects areas of the sign by not permitting the blast mixture to harm them. The exposed areas are eaten away, leaving beautiful natural patterns in the wood. After sandblasting, the sign is cleaned and prepared for the priming, painting, and finishing processes.
